This is the Last Will and Testament of me Sarah Branscombe of
Bampton in the County of Devon, Widow of William Branscombe late of
the same place, Yeoman, deceased, which I make and publish in
pursuance of the power and authority given and reserved to me in
and by the Last Will and Testament of the said William Branscombe
by virtue and in pursuance of all other powers and authorities to
me given or in anywise appertaining or in any way enabling me in
that behalf. First I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah
Greenway, the wife of James Greenway of Bampton aforesaid,
Innkeeper, a sum of one hundred pounds. I give and bequeath unto my
sons Robert Branscombe and Francis Branscombe the sum of eighty
pounds each. I give and bequeath unto my son Richard Branscombe the
sum of sixty pounds. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter
Eliza Branscombe the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds and all
and singular my household goods and furniture which I may have at
my decease. All which said legacies I do hereby declare and direct
shall be paid by my executor hereinafter named and appointed within
six months next after my decease. And all the rest, residue and
remainder of my monies, securities for money, goods and chattels,
rights and credits, personal and testamentary estate and effects
whatsoever I give and bequeath to my son John Branscombe to and for
his own absolute use and benefit subject nevertheless to the
payment of my just debts, funeral expenses and the expense of
proving this my last will and testament. And I do hereby nominate,
constitute and appoint my said son John Branscombe sole Executor of
this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all
and every former and other will and wills by me before made. In
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twentieth
day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred

Branscombe, the testatrix, as and for her last will and testament
in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as
witnesses.

Baggard, Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of John
Branscombe, the son, the sole Executor to whom Admon was granted
having been first sworn duly to administer.
