THE DISTRICT REGISTRY AT EXETER
On the fifth day of April 1860 the Will of James Shobbrook late of Bondleigh in the County of Devon Yeoman deceased, who died on or about the 29th day of December 1859 at Bondleigh aforesaid was proved in the DISTRICT REGISTRY attached to Her majesty's Court of Probate at EXETER, by the Oath of William Shobbrook of Bondleigh aforesaid Yeoman Nephew of the deceased the sole Executor therein named he having been first sworn duly to administer.

This is the last Will and Testament of me
James Shobbrook of Bondleigh in the County of Devon Yeoman. I give
and bequeath unto my Nancy Shobbrook Daughter of my late Brother
Joseph Shobbrookthe sum of three pounds. I give and bequeath unto
my nephew Thomas Shobbrook Son of the said Joseph Shobbrook the sum
of two pounds. I give and bequeath unto Rachel Shobbrook widow of
my late Brother Richard Shobbrook the sum of three pounds. I also
give and bequeath unto my niece Julia Potter Wife of George Potter
the sum of two pounds. All the above mentioned Legacies to be paid
within six calendar months after my decease. All the rest, residue
and remainder of my real and personal Estate of what nature or kind
soever which I shall be seized or possessed (subject to the payment
of the above mentioned Legacies) I give and bequeath the same unto
my nephew William Shobbrook Son of my late Brother Richard
Shobbrook. And I appoint the said William Shobbrook Sole
Executor of this my will. And I revoke all other testamentary
writings by me at any time heretofore made. In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twentieth day of September

presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his
presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our
