BRADWORTHY

[Description(s) from The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland (1868)]

"BRADWORTHY, a parish in the hundred of Black Torrington, in the county of Devon, 7 miles to the N. of Holsworthy, its post town. It lies on the border of Cornwall, on the Bude canal. The living is a vicarage* in the diocese of Exeter, of the value with the perpetual curacy of Prancras-Wyke annexed, of £243, in the patronage of the crown. The church is dedicated to St. John the Baptist. The Wesleyan Methodists have a chapel here."
