This is the last will and testament of me Susan Bartlett France of Brixham in the county of Devon, Spinster. I give and devise unto my sisters Frances Elizabeth France and Jane Stephens France, (spinsters) during their lives, or whilst unmarried, in equal proportions all that dwelling house and its appurtenances, situated in Fore Street, Brixham and given me by my grandfather John Vittery; and at the death or marriage of the survivor of my above named sisters i give the said house and appurtenances unto my youngest brother John Vittery France and his assigns.
