BROADHEMPSTON

"BROADHEMPSTON, a parish in the hundred of Haytor, in the county of Devon, 3 miles to the N. of Totnes. It lies near the South Devon railway. The living is a vicarage* in the diocese of Exeter, of the value of £311, in the patronage of the crown."
