BULKWORTHY

[Description(s) from The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland (1868)]

"BULKWORTHY, a parish in the hundred of Shebbear, in the county of Devon, 7 miles to the S.W. of Great Torrington. Bideford is its post town. It is situated on the banks of the river Torridge. The living is a perpetual curacy annexed to the vicarage of Buckland-Brewer, in the diocese of Exeter."
