BUTTERLEIGH

"BUTTERLEIGH, a parish in the hundred of Cliston, in the county of Devon, 3 miles to the S. of Tiverton. The Tiverton branch of the Bristol and Exeter railway passes near it. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Exeter, value £170, in the patronage of the lord chancellor."
