CADELEIGH

[Description(s) from The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland (1868)]

"CADELEIGH, (or Cadleigh), a parish in the hundred of Hayridge, in the county of Devon, 4 miles to the S.W. of Tiverton, its post town. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Exeter, value £198, in the patronage of Mrs. Moore. The church is dedicated to St. Bartholomew. There are charitable endowments for the poor which produce £16 per annum.
