I Margaret Webber of the pish of Chanleigh in the Countie of Devon Widdow
being weake of body but of good and perfect memorie (thankes be to Almightie
God) Revoking all & Disanulling all former Willes Doe now make this my last
will in manner & forme following That is to say First I Give and Bequeath my
soule unto Almightie God my maker & Redeemer And my body unto the Christian
buriall
As touching my goods and estate I Give and bequeath as here after followeth
First I give unto the poore of Chanleigh Twentie Shillinges to bee paid unto
them within one Month after my decease Item I give unto the poore of
Chanleigh Twentie Shillinges to bee paid unto them within one Month after my

Item I give and bequeath unto those children of my brother in law Richard
Moore of Chanleigh Twentie Shillinge apeece to be paid them when they shall
come in age
Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Noon(?) my goddaughter five pounds
Item I Give and bequeath unto the rest of my Sisters children twentie
shillings apeece
Item I Give and bequeath unto my brother in law Markes children Twentie
shillings apeece [Markes = surname]
Item I give unto William Snow my kinsman five pounds
All my sisters children I Give and bequeath unto them Twenty Shillings

Item I Give and bequeath unto my Sister Skinner my Mare and Side Sadle and
furniture with belongeth unto her
Item I Give and bequeath unto all my Sisters all my Lynnen which belongeth
unto my house to be Equalie devided amongst them after my decease
Item I Give and bequeath unto my Sisters all my apparell to be devided
amongst them after my decease
Item I Give and bequeath unto Hugh Soundon (or Sounden) my brother my living
that I now dwell in, called West Tynnseill after my decease and hee shall
pay unto my Executors One Hundred pounds
Item my will & intent is that my Extors Shalbe at the charge of five pounds
at my funerall
All the rest of my goods not given nor yet bequeathed I doe give and
bequeath unto Roger Skyner of Chalnnleigh my kinsman & unto Elizabeth Moore
daughter of Richard Moore my kinswoman whome I doe make my whole & sole
Extors of this my Last will & Testament> Item I doe appoint my brother in law John Markes & Hugh Noon(?) to be Rulers
& Overseers to see my will performed & I will give unto them Ten Shillings

This Will was proved ye sixth day of July 1653 before the Judges for probate of wills & granting Admons appointed by an Act of Parliamt Entitled in Act for probate of wills and granting Admons by the oath & the name of Roger Skinner one of the Extors therein named To whome Admon was remitted hee being first sworne by Common faithfullie to Adter, power being reserved to Elizabeth Moore, ye other Extor named in the said Will of proving ye same in like manner whensoever shee shall ...... and desire soe to doe.
