"COOKBURY, a parish in the hundred of Black Torrington, in the county of Devon, 4 miles N.E. of Holsworthy, its post town. The living is a perpetual curacy annexed to the rectory* of Milton Damerell, in the diocese of Exeter, in the patronage of the Rev. W. D. Anderson.
