HOLLACOMBE

[Description(s) from The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland (1868)]

"HOLLACOMBE, a parish in the hundred of Black Torrington, county Devon, 2½ miles S.E. of Holsworthy, its post town. It is situated on the river Claw. The village is small and wholly agricultural. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Exeter, value £73. The church, dedicated to St. Petrock, is a small ancient building containing three bells."
