Appendix A:

Schedule of Bible Christian Chapels in Devon in Use on 17 September 1907

This list was prepared by Roger Thorne and was published in The Last Bible Christians - Their Church in Devon in 1907.

The chapels are listed by circuit and each entry is arranged on four lines:

Line One: Name, Accommodation, Trust Income for the Year, Debt.
Line Two: Name of Chapel, Location, National Grid Reference.
Line Three: Opening & Closing Dates, Reason for Closure, Present Use or Condition of the Building.
Line Four: Years that the Conference met in the Chapel or its Predecessor.

NB: Accommodation details are for 1905 for circuits 25-28 and 31-34. No details are available for any year for circuit 30.

Income and debt is expressed in Pounds/Shillings/Pence - shorthand shown as £.s.d. This was the currency in 1907 within the UK.
