WEST ANSTEY

[Description(s) from The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland (1868)]

"WEST ANSTEY, a parish in the hundred of South Molton, in the county of Devon, a little to the N.W. of East Anstey. The living is a vicarage* in the diocese of Exeter, value £132, in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Exeter. The church is dedicated to St. Petrock. There is an almshouse for poor persons, and charities amounting to £7.
