This provides an index to all Grooms in the Joiner Marriage Index, by surname and forename, The index entry indicates the year of marriage, and parish it took place; as in, for example, the following entry:-


	AARON            Anthony Hall,1823hr.

                  John,1800wm.

In the above, the first Groom indexed is Anthony Hall AARON; "1823hr" indicates his marriage was in 1823, hr indicating the parish code, in this case, Houghton le Spring in the list of parish codes.
